The file gdiwxp.dll is a direct link library (dll) file, which contains code, images, and other binary data that different software can use. A dll file like gdiwxp.dll allows programs to share code, effectively reducing the memory requirements when running multiple applications. The dll is loaded only in the memory when required, and can be removed again to make room for other codes. The file gdiwxp.dll can be a legitimate file that contains native executable codes, but it can be used by malware to camouflage itself. Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. gdiwxp.dll. is used by Troj/Haxdoor Trojan, If you shut down gdiwxp.dll, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
