The file gdipp_hook_32.exe, known as gdipp Hook, belongs to software gdipp Hook by gdipp Project. Users of Windows do not have many options when it comes to text rendering, except to enable ClearType, which is a technology developed by Microsoft to improve the readability of text on liquid Crystal Displays (LCDs). The gdipp Project is designed as a replacement of the standard Windows text renderer to bring text rendering in Windows closer to how text is rendered in Mac OS and Linux distributions. Gdipp can be installed as a service, which is the recommended mode that combines the best compatibility with system-wide rendering, or in the Registry mode that is not as stable but provides the best text rendering. Another option is the program mode that will only switch the text renderer for programs that are dropped onto the program shortcut. The gdipp Project is a re-launch of the suspended gd++.dll project to provide improved features that include seamless support for 32/64 bit Windows and DirectWrite support.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. gdipp_hook_32.exe. is used by gdipp Projcet, If you shut down gdipp_hook_32.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop gdipp_hook_32.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is gdipp Projcet, from your system.
