The file gbx4log.exe, known as Core Log Writer, belongs to software Core Access by Aramova. This extensible modular framework allows support for multiple access media, such as wireless, dial, DSL and cable, within a single Smart Client Framework. CoreAccess is optimized for mobile services, and the framework is also functions as a mediation platform that allows plugin third party solutions such as VPN access, data accelerators, and content filters. This platform supports service activation, connection management, and deployment of customer service.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. gbx4log.exe. is used by CoreAccess, If you shut down gbx4log.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop gbx4log.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is CoreAccess, from your system.
