The file game.dat is a component of the program The Battle for Middle-Earth, which is developed by EA Los Angeles, or EA Games. The Battle for Middle-Earth is basically a series of The Lord of the Rings, which is a real-time strategy video game, and is based on the movie The Lord of the Rings by Peter Jackson, and is originally a story from the novel written by J.R.R. Tolkien. This kind of video game for computers uses short video clips, exclusively from the movies, including the voice of the real actors from wizards to hobbits. The game.dat file is a component of this software product, and is recommended to remain running in the background of the computer, but unless it is causing errors or problems that affect the performance of the system.
