The file ftype2k.exe is a process in software FlexType (version 2) from an unknown developer. FlexType software can be used on English Windows versions only and installation in localized versions like Spanish, German, or French results in loss of some native characters.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. ftype2k.exe. is used by FlexType 2K, If you shut down ftype2k.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
