The fsmb32.exe file is the process called F-Secure Message Broker that is used by the application F-Secure Anti-Virus Client created by F-Secure Corporation. This process file has a digital signature from F-Secure Corporation with certificate issued by VeriSign Time Stamping Services Signer. The process automatically starts on running processes. There is no visible window for this process. The fsmb32.exe file is a non-system process that originates from the program installed in the system. It is not a core file for Windows that means the operating system can run without needing this process. It can hide itself. F-Secure Anti-Virus Client Security offers protection from new threats. It provides integrated security solutions such as virus protection, firewall, intrusion prevention and application control for desktops and laptops. It aims to protect your system from malicious threats that could harm your computer and interrupt its normal operations.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. fsmb32.exe. is used by F-Secure Anti-Virus Client, If you shut down fsmb32.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop fsmb32.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is F-Secure Anti-Virus Client, from your system.
