The executable process file framework.exe (version 2.0.50727.42) belongs to framework Application and the software Realtek (version AC97 Audio-Event Monitor) or Lexware financial office professional, which is also identified as Realtek Azalia Audio-Event Monitor. It has been created by Haufe-Lexware GmbH and Co. KG, or Realtek Semiconductor which also may go by the product name of Framework developed by Preeda software, and belongs to the product Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 with the description of IExpress Setup as developed by the company Microsoft Corporation. The process file is found to be running in the Task Manager as the process framework.exe, in which TrendMicro regards it as TROJ_MALLJQ.A or WORM_RBOT.ELL, whereas Microsoft identifies it as Trojan: Win 32/Rbot gen.. It is found in c:\programme\lexware\lexware professional\gemeinsame dateien\framework folder that is located in folder C:\Windows\System32 with the directory %TEMP%\DM or %PROGRAMFILES%\Lexware\premium\2012. On Windows 7/XP the file size is 118,272 bytes (46% of all incidences), 119,808 bytes or 118,784 bytes. Upon boot process, framework.exe loads with the Registry Key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Run or HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\RunServices.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. framework.exe. is used by Framework, If you shut down framework.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop framework.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Framework, from your system.
