The fpcibase.sys file is the process called Driver for FRITZ!Card PCI that is used by the application FRITZ!Card PCI created by AVM GmbH. This process file is a driver. A driver is a small application that enables the computer to interact with connected or hardware devices. It usually communicates with the device through a communications subsystem or a computer bus that is connected to the hardware. A driver is dependent on hardware and is operating-system-specific. The fpcibase.sys file is a safe process. This file has a digital signature from Microsoft Windows with certificate issued by Microsoft Time-Stamp Service. Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. fpcibase.sys. is used by FRITZ!Card PCI, If you shut down fpcibase.sys, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop fpcibase.sys, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is FRITZ!Card PCI, from your system.
