The file foxy.exe, known as Foxy Network Client Application, belongs to software Foxy Client from Foxy. The Foxy Network Client application is a component of Foxy, which is peer-to-peer (P2P) software from the Chinese company Vastel Technology Ltd. Inc. It is one of the most popular Chinese file sharing application that is designed to share files in the traditional Chinese character keywords or file names in a search-based network. Foxy is based on the gnutella and G2 architecture. Gnutella is a decentralized P2P sharing protocol that employs a gnutella client that users employ to search, download, and upload files from the Internet and in a similar manner, Foxy employs the Foxy Client. Foxy uses a Gnutella Web Cache as bootstrap method for connecting its clients initially to the Foxy Network. Users of the Foxy P2P file sharing are unable to confirm file originator since when a foxy client searches for a file, other foxy clients reply with a list of IPs who have the file.
