The flywheel.exe file is the process called FlyWheel MainEngine that is used by the application Plannet Crafters Flywheel developed by Plannet Crafters Inc. The flywheel.exe process can record inputs. The file has no digital signature. It is a non-system process that originates from the software installed in the system. It is not a core file for Windows that means it is not required for the operating system to run. It automatically starts on current user startup startmenu, on running processes or on Start Menu\Programs\Startup. The program does not use a visible window. It runs when you boot Windows. The registry key for this process is HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders. You can access the program FlyWheel on Windows Control Panel. Plannet Crafters Flywheel is a mouse scrolling add-on. Plannet Crafters Inc. is a developer of utilities for Windows system.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. flywheel.exe. is used by Plannet Crafters Flywheel, If you shut down flywheel.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop flywheel.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Plannet Crafters Flywheel, from your system.
