The flockbox.exe file is the process called My LockBox that is used by the application My Lockbox created by FSPro Labs. It is a non-system process for Windows. The operating system can run without requiring this process. The flockbox.exe file has a digital signature from FSPro Labs with certificate issued by Comodo Time Stamping Services Signer. This is a legitimate process. This process runs when you load Windows. The registry key for this process is HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run. It can monitor applications. You can access the program My LockBox on Windows Control Panel. Automatic startup locations for the flockbox.exe process include running process and local machine of autorun registry entries. My Lockbox is security software that allows you to protect your folders with a password. It hides the protected folder from any application or user in your system and from the Internet as well.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. flockbox.exe. is used by My Lockbox, If you shut down flockbox.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop flockbox.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is My Lockbox, from your system.
