What is  fling.exe

The fling.exe file is the process called Fling File Transfer that is used by the application Fling authored by NCH Software. This is not a system process. It is not a core file for Windows that means the operating system can operate without requiring this process. It is not a visible program. The fling.exe process monitors applications and records inputs. This file has a digital signature from NCH Software with certificate issued by Symantec Time Stamping Services Signer – G3. The process automatically starts on services installed, running process or on the local machine of autorun registry entries. Fling is an FTP [file transfer protocol] upload and synchronization software that enables automatic or manual uploading of files on Internet Explorer. It can automate folder backups and maintain a Website on remote hosted server. It supports both network file transfer and Internet FTP. It can automatically detect, synchronize and upload changes to Websites.

How can I stop fling.exe and should I?

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. fling.exe. is used by Fling, If you shut down fling.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop fling.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Fling, from your system.
