The flashutil10k_activex.exe process is a Web-based executable file that is implemented through ActiveX functionalities upon user request. When a user grants a Web page access to the system via ActiveX for executing the flashutil10k_activex.exe process, the flashutil10k_activex.exe file is initialized and implemented into the system of the client computer, in order for the Flash Player software to be installed in the client machine. The flashutil10k_activex.exe process is also activated when a user grants ActiveX access to a Web page for uninstalling a previous version of the Flash Player software, in order to install the current version of the Flash Player program. Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. flashutil10k_activex.exe. is used by Adobe Flash Player ActiveX Installer/Uninstaller, If you shut down flashutil10k_activex.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop flashutil10k_activex.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Adobe Flash Player ActiveX Installer/Uninstaller, from your system.
