The fixcamera.exe process is a type of an executable file that is known by the name CameraFixer MFC Application, or CameraFixer in short, which is an essential part of the software CameraFixer Application, a product created by SONIX. With an average size of 20,480 bytes, although there are other variants, fixcamera.exe is installed and located in a particular folder, which is C:\Windows, or sometimes C:\Program Files, once the program associated with it is downloaded on the computer. Furthermore, this file program is not a Windows core file and no visible window, but is compatible with Windows operating system, and may monitor other applications, or execute other modules that depend on it. The software that houses the file launches upon the startup of Windows, and is evident in the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run. If everything is set, the fixcamera.exe file is able to provide access to the different functions of the web camera, and a user is ready to make a video chat with it.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. fixcamera.exe. is used by CameraFixer Application, If you shut down fixcamera.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop fixcamera.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is CameraFixer Application, from your system.
