The fcadvice.exe file is the process used by the application AWStats created by Laurent Destailleur. The location of this executable file is in the C:\Program Files subfolder. Known sizes for this file include 278,528 bytes, 274,432 bytes and 282,624 bytes with 53% occurrence. There is no visible window for this program. The fcadvice.exe file can record inputs. You can access the program on the Windows Control Panel. AWStats analyzes log files for advanced statistics. It is an open source software that serves as Web analytics reporting utility for analyzing data obtained from Internet services including streaming media, FTP, mail and Web servers. It analyzes and parses the server log files to produce HTML reports. It presents data using bar graphs and tables. It creates static reports using command line interface. It supports on-demand reporting through CGI Web browser program.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. fcadvice.exe. is used by AWStats, If you shut down fcadvice.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop fcadvice.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is AWStats, from your system.
