The file fasttvsync.exe, known as FastTVSync Module, belongs to software Outerinfo from an unknown source. This process is classified as adware that is installed as a download bundle with legitimate software. Outerinfo has the capability to track online shopping history and general Internet browsing, and then sends this information to the originating server to generate relevant popups to the computer. This adware may not be dangerous, but it is annoying and persistent, can significantly reduce the processing speed of the computer, and slow down Internet access. Adware like Outerinfo are advertising supported software that generates revenues for its author. In order to recover development costs, advertising functions are sometimes integrated into or bundled with some legitimate software. Most users however are usually not aware that the adware is bundled with the installed software. Adware usually present unwanted advertisements in the form of popups, while others include observation of browsing activities.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. fasttvsync.exe. is used by Outerinfo, If you shut down fasttvsync.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop fasttvsync.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Outerinfo, from your system.
