The file eyeline.exe, known as Eyeline Video System, belongs to software Eyeline by NCH Software. Eyeline is professional video surveillance system used to capture and store digital video from single or multiple cameras. It can be used to create a multiple webcam security system to monitor the home or to manage the security in a large establishment. Eyeline can record multiple video channels simultaneously with automated motion detected start and stop if required. The application can monitor and record to any number of PCs available in the establishment from a number of corresponding video sources. Captured images can be streamed to a central computer, uploaded to the Internet via FTP or stored in a local computer. The recordings are automatically compressed for archiving, which can later be searched by time, date, line, or other data reference. The frames are automatically time stamped so it can be used if evidence is required.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. eyeline.exe. is used by Eyeline, If you shut down eyeline.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop eyeline.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Eyeline, from your system.

After uninstalling applications it is a good idea to scan you Windows registry for any left over traces of applications. Registry Reviver by ReviverSoft is a great tool for doing this.
