Everest Home Edition has a clean and organized interface that provides relevant information about the computer, with a main window that presents a large amount of information about the computer hardware. It also features three benchmarks that enables the user to test memory read, write, and latency. It creates a detailed report that presents the status of all hardware components, and provides recommendations for those that needs to be fixed. The hardware-related report is presented as a HTML file or as plain text.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. everest.bin. is used by Everest Home Edition, If you shut down everest.bin, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop everest.bin, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Everest Home Edition, from your system.
