The file etdapix.dll, known as ETD Ware TSR Enhancements, belongs to software ETDWare PS/2-x86 by Elan Microelectonics. The process etdapix.dll is a Direct Link Library ((DLL) file that is installed in the computer to support the driver ETDWare PS/2 that is installed for the Elan Microelectronics Touch Pad. The process ETDWare PS/2-x86 enables the operating system to communicate with ELAN's smart-click pad, which eliminates the need for physical buttons since the entire touch pad functions as buttons. The DLL file contains the codes and instructions that are called upon when the user executes on the functionality of the installed smart-click pad from Elan. The process etdapix.dll was written by Elan for the Windows operating system, specifically for the installed model of the Elan Microelectronics Touch Pad. The user can click almost anywhere on the smart-click pad to simulate the mouse left or right button click.
