What is  erunt.exe

The erunt.exe process is bundled with the software called ERUNT, which stands for Error Recovery Utility for NT/2000/XP, and the erunt.exe process is the executable dispatcher file of the ERUNT application, particularly version 1.1j of this program. The erunt.exe file calls on other associated program files, modular system resources and application-specific modules when activated. The erunt.exe process does this in order to load the ERUNT application unto the system. The Error Recovery Utility for NT/2000/XP software is implemented with a set of functionalities for creating backup copies of the Windows System Registry, recovering these backup Windows System Registry copies, debugging or fixing errors and outdated keys and entries in the Windows System Registry and for optimizing the Windows System Registry. The erunt.exe file is normally stored in the same application folder where the ERUNT software was installed, which is under the Program Files directory of the system partition.
