WMIServi Application, or ePowerSvc, is the service name of the file epowersvc.exe, a type of an executable process, and is a part of the software Acer ePower Management, or Acer Empowering Technology, or Gateway Power Management, or eMachines Power Management, which is created by Acer Incorporated. Acer ePower Management, also called as Acer ePower, is a power management utility tool that is pre-insatalled on Acer laptops or notebooks, and is used to enable the selection of an active profile, as well as base working options. This software is also able to allow a user to adjust the brightness of the monitor, as well as the productivity of the processor, the time of monitor blanking, and the mode of the computer from turn-on to sleeping mode. The file process epowersvc.exe is a component of this application, it is essential to keep it running in the background. Also, this file has a digital signature from Acer Incorporated - Symantec Time Stamping Services Signer - G3.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. epowersvc.exe. is used by Acer Empowering Technology or Acer ePower Management, If you shut down epowersvc.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
