The executable process file epaservice.exe (version 8.15.7.0), belongs to EPA Service Module that is part of the software EPA Service, EPA Service Module, or Eracent’s EPA Client which is utilized for gathering information on hardware and software installer on a device that is developed by EPA Service Module. The process file is found to be running in the Task Manager as the process epaservice.exe which is considered as a legitimate service and application. The process file is commonly located in the folder of C:\epa.epa and in the subfolder of C:\. On Windows 7 or XP, the process file has a file size of 221,184 bytes (30% of all incidences) or 118,784 bytes with 5 other variants. The process file is not considered to be as a visible window and neither is it a Windows system file. In functionality, the process file scans workstation for software and hardware configuration.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. epaservice.exe. is used by EPA Service Module, If you shut down epaservice.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop epaservice.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is EPA Service Module, from your system.
