The file enodpl.sys is driver enodpl without a description or publisher that relates to installed games with CD copy protection. CD/DVD copy protection is a blanket term for the various methods of copy protection for CDs and DVDs. Methods of copy protection include dummy files, use of illegal table of contents, digital rights management (DRM), CD checks, over-sizing or over-burning the CD, physical errors, and bad sectors. The increase in copy protection resulted from the piracy and video downloads that are becoming more prevalent in the video industry. Protection schemes rely on the distinctive features that can be applied to the CD/DVD during the manufacturing process so that the protected medium can be distinguished from an unprotected unit.
