B’s Recorder Gold Service Library is a system service that is executed through the bgsvcgen.exe file. The application is usually installed with drivers for camcorders and DVD-RW devices. File directory is C:\Windows\System 32\bgsvcgen.exe, or \SysWOW64\bgsvcgen.exe. File size is about 145,504 bytes. The file enables the system to run digital recording and writing devices for burning CDs or DVDs, and extracting photos and videos from digital camcorders. In most instances, users experience problems with the bgsvcgen.exe file when they already have an existing CD/DVD-RW driver installed in the system. The two processes have conflicting attributes which override one another, and when this happens, the system is unable to read both processes; thereby displaying error messages that an application needs to be terminated, or a file to launch an application cannot be found. This renders the digital devices to be unrecognizable by the system. Error messages were also encountered when the bgsvcgen.exe file was set to manual start instead of auto, which once again made the devices unrecognizable by the system whenever these are connected to the computer.
