What is bdmcon.exe
Known as BitDefender Management Console, the bdmcon.exe file is a component of the BitDefender software product series, which includes versions 8, 8 Free Edition, 9, and Professional Plus, and BitDefender Antivirus Plus, and both programs are designed or created by SOFTWIN S.R.L. As bundled in the program, the process bdmcon.exe launches itself to run in the background, with the purpose of allowing the user or system administrator to connect to the BitDefender Management Server, by logging in with the correct or registered information, which include the IP address, username, password, and default port. Also, the bdmcon.exe file enables the user to know the status of the application, and provide solution to fix issues, through the dashboard. The bdmcon.exe file is also used in another program called BullGuard, which is developed by BullGuard, with the service name BullGuard Management Console, and has the same purpose when downloaded onto the Windows computer.
