What is  backservice.exe

The executable process file, backservice.exe (version 1.0.4.0) is identified as Splashtop Connect BackService that is part of the software, Splashtop Connect Service or Splashtop Connect as developed by the Company, Splashtop (formerly known as DeviceVM Inc.). Further to this, the process file backservice.exe runs as a background Windows service called, “SCBackService” (Splashtop Connect Service). It is executed with several functions, which include as a computer in the network and it runs as a program that can be executed by the Service Controller.
