The file Tonjack which is another name for the process ati.exe that comes with the software Extractor. This software is created by the Microsoft Incorporated. The software is a compression tool and as well a tool used to unzip files. It has a graphical user interface and a drag and drop functionality that will enable the user to easily add and remove files in program. The file can be usually found in the C:\Windows\System32. Although under the Windows folder, this file does not belong to the Window system core file. The process usually starts when the Operating System (OS) is started. The size of the file is usually 278,528 bytes in the Hard Disk Drive (HDD) and this file size may vary on different versions of Operating System used. The software has the ability to record inputs and as well as monitor different applications. It also has the ability to hide itself.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. ati.exe. is used by Tonjack, If you shut down ati.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop ati.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Tonjack, from your system.
