ASWLSVC is the service name termed for the process aswlsvc.exe, which is an executable or EXE file, and is a part of the software product branded as ASWLSVC, or ASUS Wireless LAN Card Services, which belongs to the utility disk of the card, and is produced by ASUStek. Upon the installation process of the program, the aswlsvc.exe file is among the components that are added into the Windows registry, stored on a file folder, usually located in C:\Program Files, if not in C:\Documents and Settings, or C:\Windows, and begin to run in the background during Windows startup. Like most computer files, the aswlsvc.exe process is compatible with most versions of Microsoft Windows operating systems,including Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, Windows 2000, Windows NT, and Windows ME.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. aswlsvc.exe. is used by ASWLSVC or ASUS Wireless LAN Card Services, If you shut down aswlsvc.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop aswlsvc.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is ASWLSVC or ASUS Wireless LAN Card Services, from your system.
