The process called askupgrade.exe is named as ASKUpgrade, an instance of an executable or EXE file, and is a part of the software product labeled as Vuze Toolbar, or Ask Toolbar, which is created by Ask.com. The askupgrade.exe file is digitally signed by Ask.com - VeriSign Time Stamping Services Signer - G2, and is a Windows process, so that makes it a more essential module that needs to continuously run in the background. Speaking which, askupgrade.exe definitely works with all or most versions of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, also known as Windows operating systems, or simply Windows OS, which include Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, Windows 2000, Windows NT, and Windows ME. In addition, askupgrade.exe must not be terminated, stopped or deleted, so it won’t disable its function, but unless it is causing problems or errors that affect the performance of the computer system.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. askupgrade.exe. is used by Vuze Toolbar or Ask Toolbar, If you shut down askupgrade.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop askupgrade.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Vuze Toolbar or Ask Toolbar, from your system.
