Device Handle process file which is also known as ashookdevice.exe belongs to the software called DeviceHandle which is developed by AsusTeK Computers. This file can be usually found in the directory of C: under the Windows folder or in other cases in Windows\System32. The has the size of 203,392 bytes in the Hard Disk Drive which would also vary on different versions of Operating System (OS) such as Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7. The program although located in the Windows folder does not make it belonging to the Windows core system file. The file ashookdevice.exe has the ability to record inputs. This file is signed digitally by the AsusTeK Computer Inc. which means this file belongs to the trusted company of the Microsoft Operating System. This software is used by the Operating System to determine a storage resource and aid the computer to access the correct means such as driver and system call.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. ashookdevice.exe. is used by DeviceHandle, If you shut down ashookdevice.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop ashookdevice.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is DeviceHandle, from your system.
