What is  asctrm.sys

A windows driver file asctrm.exe which is also known as the TR Manager belongs to Windows Operating System (version 2000 DDK Driver). This software communicates with the hardware or to other connected peripherals to make the Computer do its functionality. The software is officially owned and developed by Microsoft Corporation. The file is usually found in the directory of C:\Windows\System32\drivers. This software is linked to another third party software called Real Player which is a media player. The size of the software is 8,552 bytes on both Windows XP and Windows 7. However the driver can be ceased from the services utility located in the control Panel of the Microsoft Operating system user. The process can be removed by removing the entire program called Real Player and this can be done through the Add/Remove utility located also in the Control Panel. Removing this process may cause other software not to work.
