The amsn.exe executable file is a file that can launch aMSN. aMSN is an MSN messaging client copy. This imitation or copy is used for instant messaging. This does not come automatically with the browser or the computer. It has to be installed by the user manually. This instant messaging software supports 40 languages and displays customized emoticons and pictures on its user interface. This instant messaging software enables the user to sign up for multiple accounts as well as log in to multiple windows to be able to communicate with a group of individuals on different accounts. This can be done without disabling the other windows. The user interface of the instant messaging software has options where users can manage their contacts as well as information about their contacts. This software offers different plugins as well as different themes to change how the user interface window pane looks like.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. amsn.exe. is used by aMSN, If you shut down amsn.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
