What is  algs.exe

The algs.exe file is called Realtek Azalia Audio – Event Monitor by software algs also known as Realtek. The software version of this process file is version AC97 Audio – Event Monitor. This software is a product of Realtek Semiconductor. Realtek Azalia Audio – Event Monitor is not a visible program on the computer’s system tray. It is an executable file located on the C:\Windows\alcmtr.exe folder. It is not an encrypted file and is stored at 62.6 Kb on the computer’s disk. Users cannot uninstall this process file as it is very useful in making the computer’s audio work. The algs software is useful in enabling the user’s computer applications to run into the dynamic port of the computer system and then communicating to the server. It also recognizes specific commands sent in by the user or by other servers. This software of algs.exe is similar in some ways to a proxy server.
