What is  adservice.exe

omega Corporation has developed the adservice.exe process, an executable process that helps in running the file stored in Iomega Active Disk Drive automatically, a part of an Active Disk application. This is not a part of Windows system file and it has no visible window, but rather, it is a component of Iomega Active Disk application which enables the user to run the application directly into the machine from portable media devices without installing them on the machine. If the user wanted to run the zip drive, adservice.exe process is needed to run the application. The Zip drive is a removable disk storage system with the capacity of 100MB up to 750MB. Moreover, in order to generate the process itself, adservice.exe gathers other executable files related with Iomega Active Disk Service such as appservices.exe, ad2kclient.exe, and adusermon.exe. It is a necessary device in connecting Iomega Disk drive to the computer system and it only uses 342KB of RAM.
