The ads.exe file is a part of the application Advantage Database Server, which is also the service name of the file, and the type of networking software used, which is developed by Sybase iAnywhere, or iAnywhere Solutions, also Extended System, Inc. Advantage Database Server is a full-featured, relational database management system or RDBMS, and a client server, that allows a user to have Indexed Sequential Access Method or ISAM table-based, as well as SQL- based data access for small businesses to large companies. In addition, this kind of software is used for standalone, shared, networked, Internet and mobile database programs. Because it is a networking application, the components, which include ads.exe, are considered important. Specifically, the ads.exe file has its own task, so a user needs to keep this running in the background, as it may cause errors to the other functions of the software if this is stopped, corrupted or deleted.
