What is  aclsymbols.exe

Found in the folder C:\Windows\System32, the aclsymbols.exe executable file is a part of the ACLSymbols Module created by Softwareentwicklung Dipl.-Ing. Patric Remus. The process file is encrypted using a software packing process of the ACLSymbols Module. The 20,000-byte process file is an access control list (ACL). An access control list to a computer file system is a list of authorizations involved in an object. Each item in an ACL identifies an item and an action. The ACL states which system procedures are permitted access to items as well as what actions are granted on certain objects. The system checks the ACL for an appropriate entry to agree whether the requested operation is authorized. In defining any ACL security pattern, understanding how access control lists are checked is very essential. ACL examples may be used to collect objects as well as information on individual units within the system’s framework.
