The acctmgr.exe file is an EXE application process bundled with the other executable program files, certain SYS driver utilities, some DLL (Dynamic Link Library) modules and particular background process items among other resource files and libraries that are used and referenced by the Norton Password Manager program, which is an application included in the suite of tools available in the Norton SystemWorks 2004 software. The Norton Password Manager program is a Windows application developed with a set of features for securely storing, organizing and managing passwords, which allow users to conveniently log into certain websites and safely perform bank transactions, product purchases and so on. The acctmgr.exe file is placed in the system upon the installation of the Norton SystemWorks 2004 software, which also means the acctmgr.exe process along with the other component files and modules of the Norton Password Manager program are all bundled into the installer distribution packages of the Norton SystemWorks 2004 application.
