Battery condition only moves downwards. Over time batteries wear out, like tyres.

Batteries will start to take longer to charge, and they won't hold a charge as long after a few thousand charges. The only way to repair this is to replace the battery entirely, and recycle the old one.

Hi Ahmed,

Microsoft has added an additional hidden feature “Battery Report” to Windows in Windows 8.
Follow the below steps to check your battery health report:

1. First, open a Command Prompt window. Right-click in the bottom-left corner of your screen or press Windows Key + X, and then click the Command Prompt option in the list.

2.  type the following command and press Enter:
    powercfg /batteryreport

3. The command will save a battery report to your user account’s directory. That’s at C:\Users\NAME\battery report.html. Head to your user directory in a File Explorer window and double-click the file to open it.

I hope this helps.

Thank You!
Lokesh

I kept getting the blue screen with Driver Power State Failure error message and then my computer would restart. I found your product and it did not happen any more. I just purchased an anti-virus (kaspersky) and now it is doing it again. It is so frustrating. My computer is only 6 months old. It is a Asus desktop.
