The zooskmessenger.exe executable is the main launcher of the Zoosk Messenger program developed by Jeff Knight and is associated with the online dating service, Zoosk. Zoosk Messenger is a chat client which allows a user, who is a registered member of the Zoozk online dating service, to interact with another Zoosk member through video or verbal chatting. Zoosk Messenger allows Facebook chatting simultaneously while on Zoosk chat. It allows the user to see feeds of the user’s Zoosk account. Since zooskmessenger.exe is a desktop client, the program is always running in the background and will continue to receive notifications for pending friend requests, both in Zoosk or Facebook, and messages sent by the user’s friends. The zooskmessenger.exe is downloaded and installed using the Adobe Air runtime and is needed upon installation and usage of the client. Zoosk Messenger is currently developed for Mac OS and Windows users only.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. zooskmessenger.exe. is used by Zoosk Messenger, If you shut down zooskmessenger.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop zooskmessenger.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Zoosk Messenger, from your system.
