Zero Config MFC Application, executed through the zcfgsvc.exe file, is part of the drivers for Intel wireless network cards, both for onboard and PCMCIA network cards for wireless platform. The file can be disabled if you are not using the wireless connectivity platform to get online. It is essential if you connect to the Internet via Wi-Fi. The process lets you know the status of your connection, as well as inform you of your default wireless connection and other wireless networks available that you can connect to. If you disable the file, you will not be able to see which networks you can connect to, including your own default Wi-Fi network. The file with the version of 9, 0, 1, 45 is a 32-bit program that is about 380 KB in size. RAM allocation is approximately 3 MB, while CPU usage is 0.00000008%. It has a default disk location of C:\Program Files\Intel\Wireless\Bin\zcfgsvc.exe.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. zcfgsvc.exe. is used by Zero Config MFC Application, If you shut down zcfgsvc.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop zcfgsvc.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Zero Config MFC Application, from your system.
