Xtrap, or xtrap.xt, is an anti-cheating tool, which scans and detects if a user has modified some game files, runs a third party application that is strictly prohibited or not allowed, and modified the entire software. Once the software is installed, those functions start to work, since xtrap.xt is a component that is stored on a file folder, usually located in C:\Program Files, sometimes C:\Documents and Settings, or C:\Windows, and registered into the Windows registry. Furthermore, xtrap.xt is compatible with all or most of versions of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, or Windows OS, which include Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 2000, and Windows NT.
