FirstStop WebSearch programs, whether FirstStop WebSearch Visual or FirstStop WebSearch Business Edition, are a type of search engine software, that enable a user to search information and get any results in just a quick typing, and results come out in a single list of about 10 or 20 per page. Because it is among the essential components, ws.exe is installed onto the computer upon the successful download of the software, so it begins to run automatically after being stored on file folder and registered into the Windows registry. In addition, ws.exe is compatible with most or all versions of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems by Microsoft Corporation.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. ws.exe. is used by WIDEsystem Application or FirstStop WebSearch Visual or FirstStop WebSearch Business Edition or Win Spybox, If you shut down ws.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
