The wmdbexport.exe file is an executable application process included with other EXE program files, some Dynamic Link Library (DLL) files, certain SYS drivers, background processes and various associated resource components that are needed by Microsoft Windows for implementing certain functionalities embedded in its Windows Media Format module. This means the wmdbexport.exe file is placed in the system upon the installation and configuration of some add-ons among other updates for the Windows Media Format module, which are mostly plugins for built-in Windows applications like Windows Media Player among other Windows programs. This also means the wmdbexport.exe process is integrated into the installer distribution packages of these add-ons, upgrades, plugins and built-in Windows applications. The wmdbexport.exe process is specifically packaged with version 11 runtime of the Windows Media Format module, and the wmdbexport.exe file is usually placed in the same folder or sub directory where the Windows Media Format v11 runtime module and its associated components have been installed in the system.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. wmdbexport.exe. is used by Microsoft Windows and Windows Media Format v11 Runtime Module, If you shut down wmdbexport.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop wmdbexport.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Microsoft Windows and Windows Media Format v11 Runtime Module, from your system.
