The wltrysvc.exe is also known as the Wireless Tray Service and it is owned by the Broadcom Corporation. It is digitally signed from Broadcom Corporation. The Wireless Tray Service is a process that is installed with the drivers from the Broadcom-based wireless network adapters that enables them to be configured and controlled. Broadcom is not a company that makes end products, however, they do create a chip which are used by different companies and is known as one of the most prevalent providers of wireless networking core logic. The process is located in the system tray and shows signal strengths that are measured by the adapter. The process is considered to be safe by its users and does not possess any possible risks that could endanger the computer system. However, it is better if the user exercises precautions in order to retain its functionalities. This is an executable file and should be kept running within the computer system.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. wltrysvc.exe. is used by Wireless Tray Service, If you shut down wltrysvc.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
