What is wl.exe
The wl.exe process is an EXE program file included with other executable application processes, certain modular DLL resource files, SYS drivers, background process items and various associated components that are used and referenced by the AMF WinLock software. This is a Windows program classified as a desktop security enhancement tool that was developed by AMF with a set of features for locking and protecting the Windows desktop and its icons. The wl.exe file is placed in the system upon the installation and configuration of the WinLock application. This also means the wl.exe process is integrated into the installer distribution packages of the WinLock software. The wl.exe process is specifically deployed as the executable program dispatcher file of the WinLock program, which means the wl.exe file can be activated by the user in order to load the WinLock software unto the system and implement its functionalities into the Windows-based computer.
