The wh_exec.exe process is an executable program file that is a component of the firmware distributions and device driver software packages of certain Gigabyte mouse devices. This means in order to implement the set of functionalities of the associated Gigabyte mouse device, the wh_exec.exe file works alongside other executable application processes, system and program-specific modular DLL (Dynamic Link Library) files, particular background process items, SYS driver utilities and various components associated to the firmware and driver software resources of these supported Gigabyte mouse devices. The wh_exec.exe file is placed in the system upon the installation of these Gigabyte firmware and driver software components, which also means the wh_exec.exe file is integrated into the installer distributions of these Gigabyte firmware packages and driver software resources.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. wh_exec.exe. is used by Gigabyte Mouse Firmware and Driver Software, If you shut down wh_exec.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop wh_exec.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Gigabyte Mouse Firmware and Driver Software, from your system.
