What is wdservice.exe
The wdservice.exe file is an executable application process included with other EXE program files, some modular DLL resources, certain SYS drivers, various background processes and associated component files that are used and referenced by the Novell WebDrive Service module. This is an applet built into the Novell NetDrive software, which is a Windows application that was developed by Novell with a set of tools for managing and configuring hard disks, optical drives and other NAS (Network Attached Storage) drives connected to the system and other client computers of the local and remote network. The wdservice.exe process along with the other components of the Novell WebDrive module work together in order to provide users with FTP drive mapping functionalities. The wdservice.exe file is placed in the system upon the installation and configuration of the Novell NetDrive software, which also means the wdservice.exe process is integrated into the installer distribution packages of the Novell NetDrive software.
