Wakeupagt.exe is the Proxy agent service for 1E WakeUp Agent software. The software has been designed to ensure that all targeted computers are switched on when there are files and software needed to be distributed. Wakeupagt.exe lessens the likelihood that a computer will miss a very significant patch because it automates when all computers are required to be available. Computers are switched off when not in use so the electrical consumption of the user will also be minimized. WakeUp uses Wake on LAN solution and offers several benefits to computers. Aside from automatically switching the computers on, it patches them, thus enhancing administration. It maximizes the productivity of the users by ensuring computer health through health checks and remedies. It enables the software to distribute patches across the network in only a few hours. Wakeupagt.exe brings out all these features to automate routine maintenance and software distribution and thus to lighten the workload of the users.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. wakeupagt.exe. is used by 1E WakeUp Agent, If you shut down wakeupagt.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop wakeupagt.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is 1E WakeUp Agent, from your system.
