The vzrs.exe process is an EXE program file that is distributed with other executable application processes, DLL (Dynamic Link Library) modules, certain SYS driver utilities, specific background process items and various associated component resources of the Sony VAIO Entertainment software. This application is classified as a component of the firmware distributions and driver software resources of certain Sony laptop models that are packaged with Windows-based systems. The vzrs.exe file is specifically deployed as the executable process component of the VAIO Entertainment Remote Service module, which is an applet built into the Sony VAIO Entertainment software. The vzrs.exe file is placed in the system upon the installation and configuration of the Sony VAIO Entertainment software, which is unloaded unto the system alongside the other firmware packages and driver software distributions of associated Sony VAIO laptop models.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. vzrs.exe. is used by Sony VAIO Entertainment and Sony VAIO Entertainment Remote Service Module, If you shut down vzrs.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop vzrs.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Sony VAIO Entertainment and Sony VAIO Entertainment Remote Service Module, from your system.
