What is  vmkbd.sys

The vmkbd.sys file is a system driver process bundled with other SYS driver files, some modular Dynamic Link Library (DLL) files, certain EXE program files, specific background process items and various associated components that are used and referenced by VMware software products. The vmkbd.sys file is particularly deployed as a component of the VMware Keyboard Filter Driver module, which is an applet built into these VMware software products.
